My Favorite Cupcake!

Peanut butter and chocolate are my favorite combination of flavors. That is why this Peanut Butter Cup Cupcake is my all time favorite cupcake that I make. It starts out with a rich chocolate cupcake, and is filled and topped with a peanut butter frosting and decorated with a peanut butter cup. It can also be made into a full size cake for any occasion.

Yesterday was a great day! I won second place in The Cupcake Battle with my Key Lime Cupcake! The event was so much fun, and I met some great and talented bakers. Thank you to those who came out, ate ,voted and supported a great fundraiser. I already have big plans for my cupcake flavor and display for next year, so stay tuned…

Cupcake Battle

The day that I have been waiting for is finally here. About two weeks ago I tried to enter the Cupcake Battle in North Conway and was told it was already full but I could be on the waiting list if someone dropped out. I said yes, never dreaming that someone would ever drop out of a fun competition like this. Well to my surprise, someone did indeed drop out and I was contacted and put on the list of twenty bakers to compete. At first I was nervous of my decision to say yes. I though of all of the work that would have to go into planning and then baking the actual 15 dozen cupcakes, let alone making the display. My feelings quickly changed from overwhelmed to excited. My husband stepped up to the plate and made me a beautiful display, and my family helped me choose the cupcake that I will be entering. I have had such great support from friends and family and I really appreciate you all!
So today, with fingers crossed, I will compete in the Cupcake Battle and I hope the voters will agree that I have the tastiest and cutest cupcakes there!

My Love for Red Velvet

Valentine’s Day has come and gone, but my love for all things red velvet has not. One would think, that after all of the red velvet cupcakes I have eaten these past few days, that I would need a break from this sinful creation. I do not need a break. I Love Red Velvet that much.
Is there a sweet that you never get tired of eating?

Chocolate Raspberry Cupcakes

Raspberry and Chocolate is such a beautiful and tasty combination, especially when they are married into a cupcake. This cupcake starts out with a rich chocolate cake that is filled with raspberry jam and then topped with raspberry butter cream. This one is a family favorite.

Pink Cookies and Cream Cupcake

Whoever said Cookies and Cream Cupcakes had to be black and white? This cupcake can be customized with just about any color. It just so happens that my favorite color is pink, which goes perfectly with my Valentine’s Day theme this month.
